We are seeking a highly experienced MEP Engineer with over 15 years of professional experience to provide expert guidance, technical oversight, and problem-solving support for a major development project in Riyadh. The role includes conducting high-level design reviews, performing technical analysis, and supporting the design and engineering teams across all MEP disciplines, with a particular focus on electrical systems. This senior-level role requires deep technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to resolve complex design challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on MEP systems, with a strong focus on electrical design, integration, and compliance.
• Conduct high-level design reviews to ensure alignment with project requirements, safety standards, and regulatory codes.
• Perform detailed technical analysis to support design decisions and resolve engineering challenges.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure cohesive and efficient design solutions.
• Review and validate MEP drawings, specifications, and calculations, particularly for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
• Support the development of MEP design strategies, value engineering, and sustainability initiatives.
• Monitor design progress and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the team.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a strong background in electrical systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering; Master’s degree or chartered status preferred.
• Proven experience in high-level design review and technical problem-solving.
• Proficiency in MEP design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD MEP, Revit, Dialux, ETAP, HAP).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with Saudi building codes, SEC standards, and regional engineering regulations.
