Job description:

Job Purpose

Perform Sales activities by managing customer inquiries, handling tenders, and fostering strong relationships. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project outcomes, contributing to the achievement of sales targets and goals.

Key Accountability Areas

Sales Operations

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of detailed proposals, tenders, and quotations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Support the execution of sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Actively seek and generate new leads to expand the customer base.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and support the team in achieving revenue growth objectives.

Customer Engagement

  • Serve as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing comprehensive product or service information.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to understand their needs and promote loyalty.

Coordination and Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal departments, including technical, operations, and marketing, to ensure customer needs are met effectively.

Market Insights and Reporting

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, customer feedback, and market conditions to senior management.

HR Proficiency:

  • Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

Delivery:

  • Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
  • Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
  • Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

  • Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

  • Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

  • Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

  • Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

  • Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
