Assistant Manager - Network Design

Qiddiya Investment Company is on the lookout for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Network Design. In this pivotal role, you will assist in the design, implementation, and management of robust network infrastructure that supports our ambitious projects and operational needs. You will work closely with a team of network engineers and architects to ensure that our network solutions are efficient, scalable, and aligned with our strategic objectives.

Your expertise will contribute significantly to creating a seamless connectivity experience for various departments within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and architecture of enterprise-level network solutions, considering scalability and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Support the implementation and configuration of network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Monitor network performance and conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement
• Troubleshoot network issues and participate in remediation efforts to minimize downtime
• Ensure adherence to network design best practices and organizational standards
• Document network designs, processes, and procedures for operational efficiency
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in network design and infrastructure
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
• Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrade projects
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in network design, implementation, and management
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VLANs, MPLS, etc.)
• Experience with network design and monitoring tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA, CCNP) are a plus
