Specialist, Collision Repair

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the body and paint workshop network, ensuring smooth operations, high repair quality, expenses control, and customer satisfaction. The role also includes:

• Supporting the setup of new workshops, including equipment selection, layout design and fit-out.
• Reviewing and approving third-party workshops to ensure they meet company standards.

Key Functional Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations across all body & paint workshops to maintain high productivity, efficiency.
• Follow up on ongoing repair orders and coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure timely parts availability.
• Monitor paint and material stock levels and take necessary actions to maintain adequate inventory.
• Manage the full insurance repair order process, ensuring accurate documentation and full compliance with insurance requirements.
• Monitor workshop KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and service quality.
• Support diagnosis of technical issues and escalate unresolved cases to technical support when needed.
• Support customer service by resolving complaints and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Certifying third-party body & paint workshops based on technical and operational criteria.
• Contributing to the setup and development of new body and paint workshops, including equipment selection, layout design and fit-out execution.
• Ensure proper maintenance and safety compliance of all workshop tools and equipment.
• Ensure all workshop staff are trained on standard operating procedures and dealership systems.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Automotive Engineering.

Experience:

• 2–5 years of experience in a similar role within an automotive dealership or body and paint operations.
