Job Description

Parsons are looking for an amazingly talented Survey Coordinator (Saudi National) to join our team on King Salman International Airport (KSIA)!

What You’ll Be Doing

Survey Planning and Coordination:

• Support the development and maintenance of survey control networks and benchmarks across the project site.
• Assist in preparing survey schedules and verifying alignment with construction sequences.
• Coordinate with construction and design teams to ensure survey activities align with design intent and project tolerances.
  
  
  

Survey Execution Support

• Liaise with subcontractor survey teams to validate field data, layout points, and as-built conditions.
• Monitor survey progress and verify fieldwork conformance to project specifications.
• Assist in performing field checks, spot audits, and verification of critical dimensions and elevations.
  
  
  

Data Management And Reporting

• Support the management of survey data, including point clouds, CAD files, GIS layers, and topographic models.
• Assist in preparing survey reports, sketches, and as-built documentation for QA/QC and client submissions.
• Ensure proper integration of survey data into digital models, including BIM and GIS platforms where applicable.
  
  
  

Stakeholder Coordination

• Interface with construction, QA/QC, geotechnical, and design teams to address survey-related queries and clarifications.
• Support coordination with third-party survey consultants or authorities for audits, approvals, or verification works.
  
  
  

Compliance And Safety

• Ensure all survey activities are carried out in accordance with project HSE requirements, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Report any survey discrepancies, clashes, or non-conformances to relevant teams for resolution.
  
  
  

Education

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  
  
  

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in surveying coordination or field survey work on infrastructure or construction projects.
• Exposure to airport, airfield, or large horizontal infrastructure projects is an advantage.
  
  
  

Skills & Knowledge

• Familiarity with total stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, levels, and related survey tools.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and basic GIS applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in interpreting and documenting spatial data.
• Effective communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Experience with airside or airport construction projects.
• Knowledge of survey integration with BIM or digital twin environments.
• Familiarity with survey data validation and QA/QC processes.
• Arabic language skills are a plus.
