WSP is currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Structural Engineer to join our team for a prominent project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This position requires advanced technical expertise in structural engineering, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead the structural design and analysis for large-scale, high-profile projects, ensuring that innovative, sustainable, and safe solutions are delivered in line with industry standards and client requirements.

• Oversee the implementation of structural engineering requirements during the construction phase of the project
• Ensure that the final product meets the client's expectations and all relevant regulations and standards
• Work closely with the project team, including contractors and subcontractors, to resolve structural-related issues promptly
• Coordinate with various engineering disciplines, including architecture, MEP engineering, and civil engineering, to ensure that all structural deliverables are of high quality and meet industry standards
• Review and approve structural shop drawings from contractors and subcontractors to ensure that they comply with the approved design.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that the construction complies with the structural design and specifications
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with the project team to ensure that structural engineering activities are integrated with other project activities
• Ensure that all structural changes are documented and tracked appropriately
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the structural engineering team

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferable.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering processes and procedures, including construction documents and specifications.
• Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards related to structural design and construction.
• Proficient in structural analysis and design software such as SAP2000, SAFE, ETABS, and IdeaStatica.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
