The Project

This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-caliber and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll Be Responsible For

• Lead the full design lifecycle, ensuring alignment with EPMO frameworks, governance protocols, and stage-gate processes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design inputs across architecture, engineering, MEP, and specialist stadium systems to meet programme, cost, and quality targets.
• Drive value engineering and design efficiency, balancing innovation with constructability and budget control.
• Manage design risks and change control, ensuring all variations are assessed and approved within governance frameworks.
• Integrate design delivery with the wider project programme, maintaining oversight of schedule, budget, and scope.
• Act as the primary design interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities, ensuring stakeholder alignment and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with design standards, codes, and regulatory requirements through rigorous technical assurance and quality reviews.
• Champion collaboration, well-being, and inclusion across design teams, mentoring talent and fostering a high-performance culture.
  
  

You’ll Need To Have

• A bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field; a master’s is preferred.
• 12–15+ years of design management experience, including senior roles on large-scale projects.
• Proven track record in stadium or large sports/entertainment facility design and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of stage-gate frameworks (EPMO, EXPRO, RIBA) and international design standards.
• Professional certification (e.g., PMP) and experience in governance-driven environments.
