Main Purpose
The Cybersecurity Supervisor will be responsible for all security aspects related to IT and OT scopes, ensuring the implementation of robust cybersecurity measures and compliance with relevant standards. He/She will develop and implement a comprehensive Security Strategy aligned with the organization's objectives. This role demands hands-on involvement in threat monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability assessments across IT and OT systems.
He/She will collaborate closely with all departments within the organization to address security matters related to existing services, upcoming technologies, evolving threats, and the overall service portfolio. The Cybersecurity Supervisor will also play a critical role in conducting risk assessments, leading security awareness programs, and guiding technical teams in implementing protective measures. This position requires both strategic vision and operational expertise to safeguard the organization’s assets and ensure business continuity.
The Cybersecurity Supervisor Will Be Responsible For
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (master’s degree preferred) in cybersecurity or computer science
- The Candidate will hold one of the following Security qualifications; Lead Implementer ISO 27001, CISMP, CISM or CISSP or equivalent
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Ability to maintain government security clearances and project authorizations as needed
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- 7 years of demonstrated information security experience, including 5 years of experience in cybersecurity technical role of comparable scope and complexity
- 3 years of experience managing information security projects preferred
- 3 years of information security experience implementing ISO 27001 (NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53 is a plus)
