The Project

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development, including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts, along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-caliber and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Delivering cost management services from contract award through project completion across various sectors.
  • Leading and mentoring managers and professionals.
  • Preparing contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses and supporting formal execution.
  • Advising on contract administration for construction works or services.
  • Measuring completed work and adjusting variations in line with contract terms.
  • Ensuring effective cost control and reporting throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Producing and presenting monthly post-contract cost reports.
  • Identifying costs related to design changes, construction activities, client charges and contract awards.
  • Evaluating claims for delays and additional costs from contractors and subcontractors.
  • Issuing certificates of practical completion and final accounts.
  • Advising on defect resolution and final completion in compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Managing cost consultants, including coaching and performance oversight.
  • Driving improvements in systems, processes and service delivery.
  • Establishing the structure, tools, and accountability needed to execute area plans and achieve excellence.
  • Providing technical development, coaching, and performance management.
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives and identifying key business enhancements.
  • Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
  • Influencing and managing key stakeholders at senior levels.
  • Actively contributing to net-zero carbon goals by identifying, managing and reducing emissions throughout project delivery.

You’ll Need To Have

  • Relevant MEA experience.
  • Degree qualification.
  • Chartered or relevant certifications such as MRICS or CIPS.
  • Proven experience in the successful construction delivery phase of projects and programmes.
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
