What You'll Be Doing

Our CSR and Sustainability Partner is responsible for leading the implementation of projects and supporting the operational demands of the business’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy. This role enables growth in programs related to environmental sustainability and community investment, aligning with the Group’s CSR vision: to drive sustainable development in the Middle East while adding value to the business.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• Keep abreast of international trends, new regulatory affairs and new technologies
• Support the CSR Specialist in all needed documentation to apply for CSR labels and awards
• Join key sustainable groups and use platform to keep abreast of new trends and regulatory changes.
• Set and update sustainable supply chain processes
• Launch initiatives and secure the buy-in of internal stakeholders (Group EHS & Security, Logistics, HR)
• Manage the development of software tools (with internal and external partners) to measure the consumption
• Ensure the development of initiatives that are relevant towards the environment (energy efficiency measures, waste management, resource optimization (water, paper, toner and electricity))
• Manage all CSR communication tools: intranet, website, newsletter, corporate magazine
• Assist in developing sustainability reports and tools for benchmarking performance
• Manage partnerships with local community & government organizations and charities
• Coordinate across different business units for efforts related to social and environmental performance
