Planning Engineer

The planning engineer will provide project status, progress, and performance to the program manager, in order to take preventive or corrective actions as needed. Also, provide the necessary reports to submit claims.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and report delay events, prepare claims for time extensions, and apply standard delay analysis methods.
- Develop and revise detailed work programs using Primavera P6, including resource and cost loading.
- Manage manpower, equipment, and material quantities, generating schedules and projections for project requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate weekly and monthly progress reports, monitor KPIs, and implement corrective actions with Project Managers.
- Strong knowledge of P6 for scheduling, delay analysis, and staff training. Provide technical support and ensure project teams have the necessary resources.
- Coordinate with IT and Commercial Departments for project resources, and act as an assistant to the Project Manager when required
Requirement:
- 5+years' experience as a planning engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or estimation Engineering.
