In this role, you will be responsible for, driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.
As an Operational Controllership Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with Global Finance Organization (GFO), Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Tax, Treasury, Statutory Accounting, and cross-functional teams to streamline local financial processes and resolve region-specific challenges.
- Proactively identifying and resolving local financial issues in partnership with global and regional stakeholders.
- Leading and supporting key controllership initiatives, drive process improvements, and challenge the status quo to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintaining a robust operating rhythm to deliver quarterly operational updates, communicate risks and exposures timely, and partner with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Supporting the execution and governance of controllership policies across segments through effective documentation, training, and communication.
- Implementing and maintaining strong internal controls in alignment with SOX requirements at the legal entity level.
- Ensuring compliance with digitized petty cash policies and governance processes.
- Collaborating with AP and P2P teams to ensure timely processing of SADAD/Bill payments.
- Coordinating with Treasury and other functions on cash repatriation, equity reviews, capitalization, distributions, cash pooling, functional currency assessments, banking operations, and legal entity funding, etc.
- Driving legal entity rationalization projects across the sub-region.
- Acting as a liaison and coordinator for internal audits (ABC, SOX and Process audits)
- Managing period-end close and reporting activities in collaboration with Global Finance Organization (GFO), Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), including balance sheet reviews and resolution of aged or "R" type items.
- Overseeing intercompany rebilling processes to ensure accurate statutory reporting at the legal entity level.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to manage regulatory requirements and resolve issues involving statutory reporting, taxation, government compliance, and customs.
- Actively contributing to ad hoc and enabling activities to include automation, ERP setup and implementation, Company code creation, controllership projects, finance transformation, and corporate governance efforts.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited university or college with CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Have minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Financial Accounting, General Ledger and Reporting.
- Be fluent in English with Arabic proficiency preferred
- Be eligible to work in the Saudi without company sponsorship or time restriction.
