IDB3516 - Internal Audit Intern

Job Purpose

To provide students and recent graduates with hands-on experience, professional development, and meaningful contributions to departmental projects in a supportive learning environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Support the IT Audit team in conducting reviews of application systems.
• Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of business process controls.
• Contribute to the assessment of IT general controls across systems.
• Participate in audit engagements involving artificial intelligence systems.
• Help perform data analysis to support audit findings and insights.
• Document audit procedures, observations, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during audit fieldwork.
  
  

Academic And Professional Qualifications

• Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
• Undergraduate student in their final year of study
• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program
• Currently enrolled in a Doctoral program
• Graduated with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree within the past 12 months
  

Skills, Necessary Knowledge & Languages

• Basic understanding of IT controls
• Familiarity with audit and risk concepts
• Strong attention to detail
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Teamwork and adaptability
• Interest in AI and emerging technologies
• English - Mandatory
• Arabic - Preferred
  
  

Program Duration

• Internship duration: 6 months
