Fraud Analyst (m/f/d)

Our Client:

Our client, a leading ecommerce platform are seeking a highly skilled Fraud Analyst.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive fraud detection and risk assessments across the Gulf region, with a focus on seller and customer behavior.
• Collaborate with data, product, and category teams to enhance fraud detection models and design preventive measures.
• Monitor transactional flows and identify anomalies using SQL and other analytical tools.
• Provide local market insights to inform risk strategies and operational improvements.
• Support the implementation of end-to-end risk mitigation processes.
• Balance fraud prevention with customer experience to ensure seamless platform integrity.
  
  

Your Qualifications:

• 3–10 years of experience in fraud detection, risk analytics, or trust & safety roles—preferably in e-commerce, fintech, or digital platforms.
• Strong SQL skills; experience with Python and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Proven ability to analyze large datasets and identify behavioral patterns and fraud typologies (e.g., account takeover, promo abuse, refund fraud, seller fraud).
• Familiarity with risk frameworks and online marketplace transaction flows.
• Excellent command of English; Arabic proficiency is required.
