Structural Designer - Super High-Rise Towers

The Structural Designer will play a critical role in the design and development of high-rise and super high-rise buildings, ensuring structural integrity, performance, and compliance with international codes. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in delivering complex vertical structures, with deep technical expertise in advanced structural systems used in towers exceeding 150 meters.
Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:- Develop structural design concepts and detailed engineering calculations for high-rise and super high-rise buildings.
- Prepare structural models using industry-standard software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, RAM Concept, etc.).
- Perform analysis of gravity, lateral, wind, and seismic loads; validate structural safety and serviceability.
- Design and optimize core systems, mega-columns, outriggers, transfer structures, foundations, and sky-bridge/sky-lobby elements.
- Review and produce construction drawings, design documentation, and technical reports.
- Coordinate closely with the architecture, MEP, geotechnical, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of design requirements.
- Conduct design reviews, resolve technical issues, and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Support value engineering, constructability assessments, and design optimization initiatives.
- Participate in client presentations, technical workshops, and coordination meetings.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 10+ years’ experience in structural design, with at least 3–5 years dedicated experience in super high-rise towers (40+ stories).
- Demonstrated experience working on projects above 150–200 meters, preferably mixed-use, commercial, or residential towers.
- Strong proficiency in structural design software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD, RAM Concept, PLAXIS, etc.).
- Comprehensive knowledge of international design codes (IBC, ASCE, ACI, BS, Eurocodes, UBC, etc.).
- Proven ability to solve complex engineering challenges and deliver accurate, high-quality design outputs.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.
- Experience with seismic design of tall buildings.
- Knowledge of performance-based design (PBD) methodologies.
- Familiarity with wind tunnel testing, peer reviews, and façade–structure interaction.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environments.
