The Field Service Technician is based out of Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Primary Duties
The Field Service Technician is based out of Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Primary Duties
- Install, repair, and service wellhead equipment for drilling, completion, and workover operations in the field.
- Assist with shop operations, including assembling, testing, painting, repairing, and maintaining wellhead equipment and service tools.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, expectations, and Health & Safety programs.
- Act as the in-country representative for Stream-Flo Industries/Master Flo Valve per customer requirements.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, vendors, and head office via various channels.
- Perform advanced wellhead assembly and pressure testing.
- Competently operate service tools and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Stream-Flo products.
- Maintain tools and spare components on-site as per customer requirements.
- Provide strong leadership in the field.
- Troubleshoot and repair valves ranging from 2,000 to 15,000 PSI.
- Expertly handle, troubleshoot, and repair Emergency Shutdown (ESD) Valves.
- Complete all HSE requirements and drive HSE initiatives in the field and shop.
- Ensure proper documentation, including inspections, service tickets, and FLRAs.
- Recommend cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.
- Work closely with Engineers on product design and running procedures.
- Travel internationally as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager to ensure seamless field operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of field service operations, service industry and wellhead products.
- Minimum 5 years of related wellhead and industry related experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven leadership, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Familiarity with competitor products and their applications.
