Welder

Job Summary

Welding/Brazing/Hardfacing of fixed cutter drill bits. Maintaining quality and equipment. Performing related manual tasks as instructed by the (Welding) Team Leader.

Responsibilities

Perform relevant tasks assigned by supervisor/manager.

Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions to co-workers.

Document actions by completing production and quality records.

Inform manager/supervisor of any uncontrolled problem found during the operation stage.

Communicate suggested improvements with supervisor/manager.

Observe safe working conditions by adhering to HSE procedures and regulations.

Maintain 5S and lean process as per set procedures.

Skills & Experience

Welding school diploma with 0-2 years of experience preferred.

Practical and conceptual skills with attention to detail.

Willingness to be a team player in a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with hand/measuring tools and lifting/moving equipment (stackers/trolleys).

Basic English language skills (speaking, reading and writing). Intermediate level and above is a plus.
