Field Service Engineering Intern

A Day in the Life

This field role focuses on performing after-sales service for Medtronic install base in the Western region of KSA. As an Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with Medtronic products and learn key service principles. You will receive specialized training on our solutions, develop essential skills for your future career, and gain valuable exposure to the field service environment.

Internship details:

• Start date: 1st May
• Duration: 6 months
• Working hours: 40h/week
• Working model: onsite
• Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
  
  
  

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Work alongside a field specialist to assist with product installations, conduct planned periodic maintenance visits and carry out simple repairs on Medtronic medical devices at customer sites, following the service delivery plan.
• Travel within territory and across KSA when required.
• Coordinate shipping of equipment for repair to the nearest service center, where field repair is not possible.
• Provide support and troubleshooting via phone and email, as needed, during regular business hours.
  
  
  

Required Knowledge:

• Recent graduate in Biomedical, Electronic, Automation or Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (B2 level or above).
• Basic troubleshooting skills and ability to assist in diagnosing technical issues with medical equipment.
  
  
  

Would be a plus:

• Valid Saudi driving license
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
