Job Description:

The Business Development Manager in the technology sector plays a critical role in driving the company's growth by identifying new business opportunities within the technology market. This role requires a professional with a strong technical background who can understand technological challenges and market needs, utilizing modern tools and techniques to develop innovative solutions that drive business growth. The manager will be responsible for building strong relationships with potential clients, providing strategic consulting, and implementing technological solutions that support company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify business opportunities within the technology sector, using advanced tools like big data analytics and artificial intelligence to understand market trends.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the technology industry, including tech companies, government agencies, and vendors.
  • Business Strategy: Develop business development strategies that align with emerging tech trends such as cloud computing and process automation.
  • Proposal Preparation: Collaborate with technical teams to create tailored proposals and presentations that address market needs.
  • Contract Negotiation: Provide support in negotiating deals and contracts, with a focus on leveraging technological solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and technical teams to ensure alignment on business goals in a fast-paced tech environment.
  • Develop Tech Solutions: Provide technical consulting and innovative strategies using advanced technologies like AI and data tools to support business development goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the technology sector.
  • A strong technical background with knowledge of software, cloud computing, and automation.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret market data using data analytics tools like Power BI and Tableau.
  • Proficiency in using sales automation tools like Salesforce and CRM systems to manage client relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience in developing customized technology solutions based on business and technological needs.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Excel.
  • Previous experience in developing new technology strategies such as IoT and Blockchain.
