Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive House Keeping professional to join our luxury hotel in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. As the leader of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction throughout our property.

  • Oversee all aspects of the housekeeping department, including daily operations, staff management, and quality control
  • Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards to maintain excellence in cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • Manage and mentor a team of housekeeping supervisors and staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations
  • Create and manage departmental budgets, including labor costs, supplies, and equipment
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any issues promptly
  • Implement and maintain inventory control systems for linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian hospitality regulations and cultural sensitivities
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain quality standards
  • Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall guest experience
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping and hospitality management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in luxury hotels or resorts
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is highly desirable
  • Proven track record in budgeting and financial management within a housekeeping department
  • In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations, standards, and best practices
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software and MS Office suite
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Experience in staff training and development
  • Professional certifications in housekeeping or hospitality management (e.g., IEHA certifications) are preferred
  • Familiarity with luxury hospitality industry standards
  • Understanding of Saudi Arabian hospitality regulations and cultural sensitivities
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required
