About the Role

At OMQ, the Event Project Management Specialist plays a key role in supporting the execution of events by closely monitoring all project details and ensuring that all teams meet assigned tasks and deadlines. Working under the supervision of the Project Manager, this role collaborates with creative and production teams to ensure event execution meets required standards.


Responsibilities

  • Review project requirements received from the Project Manager.
  • Prepare project files and share them with the relevant departments (Production, Design, Logistics, etc.).
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure the readiness of all required elements at each implementation stage.
  • Prepare detailed task schedules in coordination with the Project Manager and follow up on daily execution.
  • Oversee on-site implementation and ensure all teams adhere to the timeline and agreed plan.
  • Submit daily or weekly progress reports to management, including challenges and feedback.
  • Support site handover and delivery processes and ensure site readiness before the event starts.
  • Verify the application of quality and safety standards during execution and report any issues or potential risks.
  • Document project stages (photos, files, updates) to be used as future project references.
  • Follow up on any urgent or unexpected changes in the project and ensure they are reflected in the execution plan.
  • Perform technical or administrative tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
  • Provide recommendations to improve future processes based on field experience.
  • Support the Project Manager in preparing presentations or reports when required.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of practical experience in project management or execution, preferably in the events sector.
  • Solid understanding of project implementation phases and coordination between different teams.
  • Knowledge of planning, monitoring, and progress documentation fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in project management and operational software tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Language: Fluency in Arabic with very good English proficiency.
