The DevOps Engineer is responsible for managing and automating deployment processes, improving CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring infrastructure efficiency across development, testing, and production environments. The role bridges the gap between development and operations to deliver high-quality software efficiently and reliably.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment processes.
- Monitor and maintain system performance and infrastructure reliability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to support integration and delivery.
- Ensure system security and implement necessary access controls and monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot system and deployment issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain documentation for configuration and operations processes.
- Work on cloud platforms and support containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Participate in code reviews and infrastructure design discussions.
- Improve release cycle and reduce deployment time through automation.
- Saudi National
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Certifications:
- Certified DevOps Practitioner or equivalent (recommended)
- Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo)
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps best practices
