Associate Director - Technology Procurement

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director - Technology Procurement to lead our procurement efforts in behalf of innovative technological solutions that enhance our projects and operations. This role is crucial for ensuring that all technology procurements align with our overarching vision and project frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement the technology procurement strategy in alignment with Qiddiya's strategic goals and objectives
• Manage the technology procurement process, including sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management
• Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential business value for the organization
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors and service providers to optimize pricing and service levels
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine technology needs and specifications
• Conduct thorough market research and benchmarking to drive innovation and competitive pricing
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures while driving efficiency and cost-effective procurement solutions
• Lead and mentor the technology procurement team, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement
  
  
  

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field
• A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in technology procurement or relevant roles within a dynamic corporate environment
• Proven expertise in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships in the technology sector
• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to evaluate complex information and make balanced decisions
• Knowledge of latest technology trends and their application in organizational settings
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across various levels of the organization
• Experience in leading and developing teams, with strong project management skills
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a distinct advantage
