Assistant Project Manager

Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to provide assistance to the Senior Project Manager for small to medium-sized projects and ensures on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist with developing project database structure, ensuring that software is compliant with client’s needs. Tests new software enhancements prior to their implementation. Troubleshoots problems as required. Provides software training to both project and client personnel.
• Develops and maintains project schedule.
• Assist with overseeing establishment and maintenance of safety plan and QA/QC plan as well as develops other project documents, processes, and procedures required to support quality control and final project deliverables.
• Chairs weekly job meetings; prepares and submits summary of project progress and pending issues to Project Manager.
• Assist with monthly reports to client and responds to client issues and expectations.
• Assists Project Manager in pricing and negotiating changes to the scope of work with the client and subcontractors. Executes all contracts change orders.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and typically 9+ years of related work experience.
