ROLE PURPOSE

The aim is to state the overall significance of the job from the organization’s perspective.

The role is responsible for providing advisory support and innovation expertise to enable business growth, organizational innovation maturity, and strategic decision-making. The position supports the development, evaluation, and implementation of innovation initiatives, facilitates collaboration with stakeholders, and contributes to fostering a culture of innovation across the organization through structured methodologies, innovation programs, and continuous improvement practices.

• Innovation Advisory & Strategic Support
• Provide innovation advisory services to business units and stakeholders on innovation opportunities and growth initiatives.
• Support the development and execution of innovation strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Contribute to identifying priority innovation domains and strategic focus areas.
• Innovation Program Management
• Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of innovation programs and initiatives.
• Track innovation KPIs, progress, impact, and return on investment (ROI) of innovation activities.
• Assist in evaluating program effectiveness and recommending improvement actions aligned with business objectives.
• Idea Management & Innovation Pipeline
• Facilitate idea generation activities and innovation campaigns across the organization.
• Support the management of idea repositories and innovation databases.
• Assist in evaluating and prioritizing ideas based on business value and feasibility.
• Support the management and continuous enhancement of the Ideas Bank to capture, evaluate, prioritize, and monitor innovative ideas.
• Innovation Assessment & Validation
• Conduct research and analysis to assess innovative concepts, solutions, and opportunities.
• Support idea validation, proof-of-concept activities, and pilot initiatives.
• Prepare recommendations and insights to support investment decisions.
• Support the assessment and validation of new concepts, prototypes, and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to identify opportunities worthy of investment.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify innovation opportunities.
• Support cross-functional teams in addressing business challenges through innovation methodologies.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and innovation-focused engagement activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify innovation opportunities and support innovation ecosystem initiatives.
• Innovation Capability Development
• Contribute to the promotion of innovation awareness and best practices across the organization.
• Support the delivery of innovation workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
• Facilitate innovation workshops, ideation sessions, and design thinking activities to promote innovation culture and employee engagement.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• Assist in defining and monitoring innovation performance indicators and success measures.
• Analyze innovation-related data and prepare management reports and presentations.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance program performance and impact.
• Innovation Research, Intellectual Property & Enablement
• Conduct market research, trend analysis, and benchmarking activities related to innovation practices.
• Monitor emerging technologies, innovation frameworks, and industry developments.
• Prepare advisory reports and recommendations based on research findings.
• Support the identification of innovations and inventions with potential intellectual property value.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders regarding patent registration and intellectual property requirements.
• Support showcasing innovation capabilities through visits, events, conferences, and customer engagements.

• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Academic And Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Innovation Management, Strategy, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  
  

Years And Nature Of Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in innovation, strategy, business consulting, transformation, business analysis, or related advisory functions.
• Experience supporting innovation programs, workshops, idea management, research initiatives, or strategic projects.
• Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders, conduct analysis, and develop actionable recommendations.
