Regulatory Communications Advisor

Purpose of Job

This level includes Jobholders of experienced professionals who are able to do the work through the use of general and key guidance, as they are primarily concerned with finding solutions to challenges that require some analysis in order to understand, solve and address challenges that have been escalated from less experienced levels.
Their complex operational activities include leading and developing governance and compliance initiatives with institutional impact, overseeing the provision of specialized, consultancy on complex regulatory issues, promoting stakeholder alignment, and leading awareness and capacity building programs to increase compliance and improve the effectiveness of governance practices at the entity level.

Job Resposiblites

• Advise and support functional departments on governance and compliance topics, and provide professional opinion on relevant initiatives and projects.
  
• Review and study requests and inquiries related to governance and compliance, and direct or follow up on them in coordination with the concerned authorities according to the competence.
• Contribute to the preparation and review of responses and correspondence related to regulatory and supervisory matters in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Building and strengthening relationships with relevant authorities to support compliance with regulatory and supervisory requirements and facilitate information exchange.
  
• Prepare, develop and review awareness and training materials related to governance and compliance to ensure that they are in line with the approved policies and requirements.
  
• Implement and support awareness initiatives and programs aimed at promoting a culture of governance and commitment and raising the level of awareness and knowledge among employees.
  
• Coordinate and hold meetings and workshops with relevant departments and sectors to discuss issues and topics related to governance and compliance.
  
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of governance training programs and commit to coordinating with the concerned authorities and following up on the achievement of their objectives.
  
• Follow up on regulatory developments and best practices in the areas of governance and compliance and propose necessary improvements to the relevant procedures and practices.
  
  

Job Details

• Prepare reports, presentations, and documents related to governance and compliance and make recommendations to support decision-making.
  
• Contributing to the development and improvement of frameworks, procedures and initiatives that enhance the effectiveness of the governance and compliance system at the level of the Authority
• Following all relevant SOPs so that the work is carried out correctly and consistently
  
• Assist in resolving escalated issues and provide the necessary support to less experienced teams to ensure that work is carried out efficiently
  
• Escalate complex problems for the person concerned to ensure that issues are resolved/resolved in the appropriate and correct way
  
• Perform other tasks according to the requirements of the work
• Training of less experienced staff on various job activities to ensure knowledge transfer, where appropriate
  
• Provide clear directions, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of less experienced subordinates/employees
  
• Support less experienced employees or direct subordinates in carrying out their tasks in accordance with defined policies and processes
  
  

Communication and Contacs

Education

Bachelor of Legal Studies, Business Administration or equivalent (required).

Experience

At least 4 years of experience in the field
