We deliver end-to-end solutions that result in revolutionary work. Job Summary: VML KSA is seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our growing creative team. The Video Editor will be responsible for crafting compelling and engaging video content for a variety of clients and platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of video editing principles, storytelling techniques, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced agency environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of producing high-quality video content, particularly for award shows and digital marketing campaigns. Responsibilities: Video Editing & Production: Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging, and impactful final products, including commercials, social media content, corporate videos, and event highlights. Select and assemble the most effective shots, sound bites, and graphics to tell a compelling story. Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and client specifications. Maintain a consistent visual style and tone across all projects. Manage and organize video assets, including footage, music, and graphics. Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends and technologies. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the creative team, including art directors, copywriters, and producers, to develop video concepts and storyboards. Collaborate with motion graphics designers to integrate animations and visual effects. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas. Provide constructive feedback to other team members. Technical Proficiency: Proficiently operate industry-standard video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects (basic knowledge), and Media Encoder. Perform color correction and audio mixing to enhance the quality of video content. Manage and troubleshoot technical issues related to video editing and production. Optimize video files for various platforms and devices. Maintain a well-organized and efficient workflow. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines. Prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to changing priorities. Maintain accurate records of project progress and status. Adhere to project budgets and timelines. Role Requirements: Proven ability to create high-quality video content that meets client objectives. Strong understanding of video editing principles, storytelling techniques, and visual communication. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Passion for video editing and a desire to learn and grow. Must be based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Must be fluent in English and Arabic (preferred). Desired Skills and Experiences: Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Video Editor. Proven experience working within an advertising agency environment. Experience editing video content for award shows, including highlight reels, nominee packages, and acceptance speeches. Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of video editing projects. Experience with motion graphics and visual effects (After Effects proficiency is a plus). Knowledge of video codecs, formats, and delivery specifications. Experience with social media video best practices. Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field (preferred). Additional Details: Portfolio Submission: Candidates must submit a portfolio of their work demonstrating their video editing skills and experience. The portfolio should include examples of award show content, if available. Software Proficiency Test: Candidates may be required to complete a software proficiency test to assess their skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. References: Candidates must provide professional references upon request. Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package commensurate with experience.
