Transport Planner

Our Transport Planning team is looking for a Transport Planner in Saudi Arabia, to support with the technical delivery of multiple master-planning/land development projects across the Kingdom. Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

• Undertake standard engineering and planning assignments
• Calculations, analysis, designs and reports
• Prioritise tasks and manage his/her own time on projects, and to meet deadlines
• Assist seniors to deliver projects effectively by taking responsibility for tasks provided
• Coordinate aspects of projects submittal and deliverables, reviews and approvals against contract requirements.
• Assist in providing marketing support to the team with current and future clients
  
  

Candidate Specifications

• Bachelors in Transportation and Civil Engineering; an MSc in Transport Planning or in Civil Engineering would be highly advantageous  
• Membership to a professional institution affiliated to the transport sector  
• Prior experience as a Transport Planner in the areas of transport planning/modelling/engineering, preferably some experience in KSA or Middle East
• Sidra, Synchro, VISSIM HCS, VISUM desirable
• Experience in making sound judgements on complex and sensitive issues.
• Successful task management experience
• Experience in working in a team environment
• A team player with the ability to be flexible in their skill development and working relationships
• Innovative thinker and effective problem solver
• Sound knowledge of professional and international standards
• Willingness to travel for short term assignments would be preferred.
