THERAPY DEVELOPMENT MANAGER-MEA

Primary Objectives

• Defining, creating and implementing marketing strategies, objectives and actions for a specific product, product group or therapy, for market of responsibility.
  
  

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

• Definition of strategic priorities: product launches, key campaigns.
• Effective product launches including positioning, implementation and tracking.
• Tailoring of Emerging Markets plans to individual needs of key accounts in the region.
• Support Therapy Development Specialist in the region by providing guidance, tools and training support.
• Identify competitive advantages of AV products and create sales and marketing materials that contribute towards more effective market impact and increased differentiation from competition.
• Implementation of activities: road shows, internal meetings, employee training conference calls, AV symposia
• Identifying clinical needs in existing and potential accounts.
• Engaging with KOLs on educational activities and research projects.
• Responsible for ensuring that all questions of a technical nature from the field, internal sources and physicians are answered in an expeditious manner and reported to the relevant contacts within Abbott.
• Perform trainings / Education to physicians, technician & nurses on the use of new products
• Ensure compliance in performing the training as required by the training procedure
• Ensure compliance in reporting product experiences according to AV requirement
  
  

Knowledge & Skills

Relevant Product Knowledge

• Excellent presentation skills
• Competency in MS Office applications
• Ability to travel
• Excellent in English
• Demonstrated abilities in coordinating projects and working with the medical profession

Educational Requirements

• University Degree in medical / Engineering/Business
• Master degree in Marketing is preferable
  
  

Experience

• Experience in a sales and marketing role in the Health Care Industry is a must
• Preferred an experience in the Medical devices, vascular field is preferable
