TENDER CIVIL ENGINEER

Preparing, managing, and submitting bids or tenders for construction project material selection & approval process for Civil work from start to finish, ensuring that all designs meet client requirements.

• Review and Analysis: Examine tender documents, drawings, specifications, and other relevant information to determine project scope and requirements. • Tender Evaluation and Negotiation: Participate actively in tender evaluation meetings, presenting proposals and negotiating with clients. • Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all tenders comply with client specifications, industry standards, and legal requirements, maintaining a high standard of quality and safety. • Collaboration: Collaborate with team members in creating project budgets, and strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients. • Documentation: Developing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring cost control measures are in place to optimize project profitability.

• Presentation: Develop technical and commercial proposals that align with project goals and company strategy. • Post-Tender Activities: Participate in the post-tender review process to identify areas for improvement in future tendering activities. • Component Selection and Specification: Reviewing tender documents, designing solutions, costing projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client specifications and organizational goals. • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that electrical designs comply with relevant industry standards, building codes, safety regulations, and certification requirements. • Assurance and Review: Develop detailed cost estimates, including material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. • Skills: Proven experience in tendering, cost estimation, and proposal preparation, proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, STAAD. Pro, Revit MS office. • Tender Preparation: Review and analyze client requirements, project specifications, and tender documents. • Client Interaction: Attend client meetings and site visits to gain insights into project requirements. • Technical Coordination's: Liaise with internal teams (design, procurement, and project management) to gather accurate data for proposals. • Maintaining Documentation: Organizing and maintaining a library of electrical drawings, documents, and related project files. • Adhering to Safety Standards: Ensuring that electrical drawings comply with relevant safety regulations and building codes.

• Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience Civil Engineering and knowledge of construction processes and standards.
