This opportunity is suitable for candidates based in Saudi Arabia where you will be working from home with occasional travel to our offices across the Middle East.
THE ROLE
A fantastic opportunity for someone with varied skills across the Microsoft stack wanting to fast track their Systems Infrastructure Engineer career.
You will work with a global team providing technical support and ensuring our environments are well maintained, enhanced and have optimal performance. You will also be responsible for providing local support to colleagues based in the region. The role will be key to supporting the local middle east region as well as being involved with the global assignments.

Key Duties Of The Role Will Include
- Ensuring Sedgwick's Environment and cloud platforms are available, secure, and performing.
- Managing, monitoring and reporting on Sedgwick’s Azure environments
- Supporting the local office and branches in Saudi Arabia
- Configuration, administration, and migration plus the on-going support services of Azure
- Providing technical support and maintenance (incident, change & problem resolution) for Sedgwick’s environments and Applications
- Providing Depot support, imaging, profiling and deploying hardware to colleagues.
- Identify improvement opportunities as well as adopting new methods and best practices for Sedgwick’s environments
- After-hours or weekend support may be required
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Strong experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on the Microsoft technology stack
- Relevant Level 2/3 experience working in a technical support or systems engineer role working at a Managed Services Provider or Company of similar scale.
- Experience in on-premise and cloud backup solutions such as Commvault or Veeam.
- Experience in remote desktop environments, end-user computing configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience with Active Directory and Windows Server environments
- Competent with most business technologies within an office environment
- Demonstrate analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- The ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to prepare quality written correspondence, and internal and external-facing documentation
- Customer facing support experience
- Willingness to learn and upskill
- Willingness to take Microsoft competency exams
- Some experience in Azure (PaaS / IaaS)
- Some experience with Networking (LAN, WAN, VPN)
- Exposure to Palo Alto, Meraki network solutions
- Experience in Security products and devices
- Customer facing experience in professional services or similar
- A tertiary qualification and/or industry certification
- ITIL certification or process experience
- “CAN-DO” attitude
- Clear and personable communication skills
- Creative and tenacious problem solver, who will think beyond the status quo and will own issues until full resolution
- High energy level coupled with a desire to take on responsibility
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise work to maintain productivity levels
- Ability to work autonomously
