Sustainability Specialist

One of JobIn Clients is Looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Sustainability Specialist to drive our organization’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in sustainability frameworks with the ability to develop, implement, and monitor impactful sustainability programs that align with corporate strategy and international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sustainability strategies, policies, and programs across operations, supply chain, and facilities.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and sustainability audits in line with ISO 14001, LEED, or other global standards.
• Prepare ESG and sustainability performance reports, ensuring compliance with national and international reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CDP, SASB).
• Monitor and analyze data on carbon footprint, energy consumption, waste management, and water usage, recommending improvement actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and community engagement.
• Stay updated on environmental laws, climate policies, and green technologies to ensure organizational compliance and innovation.
• Lead training and awareness programs to promote sustainability culture within the company.
• Support sustainability certification processes and manage relationships with environmental agencies and certification bodies.
• Evaluate suppliers and partners based on environmental and social performance criteria.
Skills- Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 50001, LEED, GRI, or carbon accounting methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, or sustainability management software).
- Proven experience (3–6 years) in corporate sustainability, ESG reporting, or environmental management.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, waste reduction methods, and lifecycle assessment (LCA).
- Experience in developing carbon reduction and resource efficiency initiatives.
- Excellent report writing, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven and analytical mindset.
- Proactive and capable of leading change across departments.
