Supervisor, Scrap & Secondary Pipe Yard

1. Responsible for inbound, Outbound and Storage Operations of the scrap and Secondary Pipe yard’s and align with the various departments of the company on regular basis.

2. Provide training and fully involve for the development of subordinates to achieve the overall departmental Goals.

3. Ensure the safe operations of Inbound /Outbound and storage of the Scrap Secondary Pipe Yard and execute the dispatch according to the SO.

4. Responsible to maintain / Update the departmental KPI’s, Procedures and Polices.

5. Responsible to carry out the Internal / External all kinds of Audits.

6. To coordinate with procurement to get the monthly sale Order for SCRAP / Secondary pipe yard and ensure the monthly dispatches.

7. Shall ensure that all the company’s departments are complying with the company’s Materials Management Procedure and ensure Safety without any incidents.

8. Ensure to pick the Scrap from different areas of the Plant without any delay.

9. Shall ensure appropriate segregation, identification, handling, and proper storage of Scrap & Secondary Pipe Yard.

10. Shall be responsible for Proper Record keeper, house-keeping and safe working environment.

11. To ensure the accurate receiving of the Scrap & secondary Pipe yard from WIP/ QA, Production and other departments of the company and verify the status with SAP.

12. To maintain the Proper Record of Receiving / Dispatches / Sale Orders / Final Gate pass and Audit reports etc.

13. Ensure the KPI’s are met and update the SAP system Vs Physical on regular basis.

14. Responsible to conduct the Annual audit with the Finance department and maintain the accuracy of the Inventory Record up to 95 %.

15. Records any non-conformity in compliance with the current procedures.

16. Ensure the license validity of the Equipment’s inside the SCRAP & Secondary Pipe Yard warehouse and must be in Operational by keeping view of HSE requirements.

17. Comply and adhere to all company policies, including Quality Policy, SHE Policy and Environmental Policy

18. Perform other duties as assigned by his line manager, if these are not against ethics and company rules and policy.

19. To ensure effective communication of the company’s mission, vision, strategy, policies, and processes to promote a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and people empowerment within his responsible area.

20. To effectively promote continual improvement initiatives in his responsible area that will enable to meet customer requirements and expectations and applicable legal requirements.

Qualification & Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business administration, Engineering, Commerce or any other relevant.

Experience:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Warehousing and Inventory Control is required, including at least 4 years in a similar capacity, particularly in Scrap or General Warehouses across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Steel, Pipes, or Construction industries.
