The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering structural engineering solutions on large-scale infrastructure or urban development projects in the Middle East. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful design and execution of high-profile projects in line with WSP’s commitment to quality and innovation. ""

Responsibilities

  • Deliver detailed structural engineering design and analysis for complex infrastructure and urban development projects.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, civil engineers, and MEP engineers to develop integrated design solutions.
  • Prepare and review structural design reports, specifications, drawings, and calculations.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project-specific requirements.
  • Conduct structural assessments and provide solutions for any design-related challenges during construction.
  • Liaise with contractors and project stakeholders to provide technical support and resolve on-site issues.
  • Participate in design review meetings and value engineering workshops.
  • Coordinate with local authorities for design approvals and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Support project delivery teams in ensuring timelines, quality, and budget requirements are met.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and design innovations.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in structural engineering, with significant exposure to large-scale infrastructure or urban development projects.
  • Proven experience working on multidisciplinary projects in the Middle East, particularly in KSA.
  • Strong knowledge of international design standards such as ACI, BS, Eurocodes, and local Saudi codes.
  • Proficient in structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, and Revit.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership is mandatory.
