Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing structural systems for a wide range of projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging and innovative projects in a rapidly developing region.
  • Develop and review structural designs for various construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and international building codes and standards
  • Perform complex structural calculations and analysis using advanced 3D modeling and design software
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings
  • Evaluate and recommend innovative structural solutions to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Participate in project planning meetings and provide expert advice on structural engineering matters
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of team capabilities
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in structural engineering

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; advanced degree preferred
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent international certification
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural design, construction, and commissioning of major capital developments
  • Proficiency in 3D structural analysis, modeling, and design software
  • Strong knowledge of international and local (Saudi Arabian) building codes and standards
  • Experience with MicroStation, BIM, and AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of asset management principles as applied to structural systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and analytical approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Innovative mindset and willingness to explore new technologies and methodologies
  • Familiarity with local construction practices and regulations in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
