Snapshot of a day:

The Strategy leader demonstrates accountability for supporting the Middle East & Africa Hub in analyzing and assessing the market dynamics and support with strategic initiatives, specifically focused on Saudi Arabia. The position holder will be responsible to conduct market research and provide internal stakeholders support for key strategic initiatives. This role will have ownership and accountability for strategic assessments and support the Head of Strategy in developing develop specific KSA in-country strategic plans in line with SE business goals and objectives.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Direct market research and analytics to identify opportunities, customer needs, market sizing, and develop and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of trends and requirements in the energy market
  • Support with Market Evaluation Process (MEP); alignment between Hub and Business Areas
  • Support the MEA Strategy Plan with focus on KSA (i.e. SE Strategy Regional process)
  • Lead the development and implementation of KSA in-country strategy to drive growth and build actionable roadmaps
  • Lead operationalization of the KSA strategy and implementation of action plans derived from current initiatives
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and investments to support sustainable growth
  • Facilitate and lead cross-Business Areas strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration and accountability
  • Deliver management reviews to support Executive visits; internal / external business reviews and customer presentations as needed in KSA
  • Support special / one-off projects as needed


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years in a top tier management consulting firm or Big 4 Audit firm
  • Experience in Strategy and Marketing (+5 years in a similar role); Strong analytical skills
  • Energy market coverage, understanding of the regional market dynamics and competitive landscape across SE portfolio
  • Excellent written & verbal communication, & presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional / Business Areas and mobilize stakeholders and resources
  • Strong execution skills, confidence, assertiveness & influencing skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Good inter-personal and leadership skills
