About the role:

Tabby is transforming how businesses access credit, enabling merchants to grow with smarter payment and financing solutions. We’re looking for a Statutory Reporting & Tax Lead to drive financial reporting excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage all statutory and tax obligations for our KSA operations. The role will be critical in safeguarding financial integrity, supporting audit readiness, and strengthening Tabby's standing with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and filing of statutory financial statements for Tabby KSA in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.

  • Coordinate and manage annual external audits, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors and ensuring timely audit completion.

  • Oversee corporate tax, Zakat, VAT, and withholding tax compliance, including accurate calculation, filing, and payment within regulatory deadlines.

  • Calculate and record monthly and year-end tax provisions, ensuring completeness and accuracy in financial reporting.

  • Manage direct relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and government authorities, including ZATCA, MOCI, and SAMA.

  • Substantiate all tax-related and statutory general ledger accounts through regular reconciliations and robust audit documentation.

  • Prepare and submit prudential financial reporting to SAMA in compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor changes in IFRS, local GAAP, and tax laws, and ensure timely implementation of required adjustments in reporting and filings.

  • Support group-level financial reporting and consolidation processes by providing accurate statutory and tax data for Tabby KSA.

  • Drive continuous improvements in the statutory reporting and tax compliance processes, strengthening internal controls and operational efficiency.

  • Prepare and maintain full audit-ready documentation to support tax positions, statutory disclosures, and regulatory submissions.




Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 5–7 years of experience in statutory reporting, tax compliance, or external audit, preferably in a fintech, bank, or Big 4 environment.

  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and Saudi Tax Regulations (Zakat, Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax).

  • Proven experience in leading statutory audits and preparing IFRS financial statements with local adjustments.

  • Experience in handling regulatory submissions to authorities such as ZATCA, MOCI, and SAMA.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or ADIT are highly preferred.

  • Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience preferred (Oracle NetSuite is a plus).

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.

  • Fluent in English and Arabic (written and verbal).
