Systems Maintenance Consultant - SAU (f/m)

Responsibilities:

• Control the contractors’ system maintenance activities for signaling, telecommunication systems, electrical systems, feeder stations in compliance with plans
• Develop and execute knowledge transfer for all system maintenance related disciplines
• Oversee the technical systems, including signaling, communication, and control systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably
• Manage and optimize rail system's signaling, communication, and control systems.
• Oversee system upgrades, integration of new technologies, and troubleshooting of technical issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure seamless system performance.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules, preventive measures, and system enhancements.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for system upgrades and installations.
• Provide technical support during emergencies and system failures.
• Control the contractors’ maintenance quality in compliance with KPIs
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Project management skills
• Railway maintenance background in either passenger high-speed or long distance intercity is mandatory
• A Bachelor of Science academic degree in Engineering is preferred
• A minimum of 10 years experience in rail industry, with a minumum of 5 years in a leadership position is preferred
• A minimum of 10 years experience in a similar position
• International experience, preferably GCC is preferred
• DB background is preferred
• Fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of Arabic and German would be an added advantage
• Knowledge of MS office, MS Project, MS Sharepoint, IBM Maximo or similar tools is mandatory
• Willingness to sign a local contract with the KSA branch
