Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Stakeholder Coordination Officer (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role, you will oversee and manage stakeholder relationships for a wide range of transportation projects, ensuring effective communication, public engagement, and alignment with project goals to facilitate smooth implementation and regulatory compliance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, contractors, and internal teams, to coordinate project activities and address concerns.
- Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies, including public consultations, workshops, and information sessions to build support and gather feedback on transportation initiatives.
- Manage communication channels, preparing and disseminating project updates, reports, and materials to ensure transparency and timely information flow.
- Identify potential stakeholder issues or conflicts early, developing mitigation plans and facilitating resolutions to minimize project disruptions.
- Coordinate with project managers and technical teams to align stakeholder expectations with project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Monitor and report on stakeholder engagement metrics, including feedback analysis and satisfaction levels, to inform project adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards for public engagement in transportation projects.
- Support change management efforts by communicating project impacts and benefits to affected parties.
- Prepare presentations, briefing documents, and response materials for stakeholder meetings and public forums.
- Maintain comprehensive records of stakeholder interactions, agreements, and communications for project documentation and audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in stakeholder management, with expertise in public engagement and communication management.
- Proven track record in coordinating stakeholders for complex projects, preferably in transportation or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience in developing engagement materials and facilitating public meetings.
- Proficiency in project management tools and communication platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration software).
- Ability to analyze stakeholder feedback and translate it into actionable insights for project teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for public engagement in transportation projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English are required.
