Job Description

Design and build web applications (backend and frontend) to meet business process and application requirements.

Design, build and maintain low latency, high availability, high performance, responsiveness application.

Work on bug fixing and continues performance improvement.

Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Manage software engineers team, code review and maintain the code quality.

Skills & Requirements

Bachelor or master degree in Computer Science or I.T related subjects.

Over all 8+ experience software development experience in which at least 5 years of web application development experience using NodeJS, ExpressJS, Angular and PostgresSQL.

Thorough understanding of NPM and package dependencies management.

Thorough understanding and experience of PostgresSQL (query and table structure optimisation) and Sequelize ORM.

Experience with JSON and XML format RESTAPI, with third party system integration.

Experience in AWS platform e.g. EC2, S3, EKS, load balancer.

Experience working in containerization environment such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience in Linux platform.

Experience of secure data transmission over network and between the applications.

Experience of data encryption and decryption techniques.

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Gitlab, GitHub.

Working knowledge of the general web landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.

Solid understanding of the software development life cycle.

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
