Division: Al Fajr maritime Services
As a Sr. Sales Specialist in Al Fajr (Freight Forwarding) is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and providing customized logistics solutions. This role involves managing a designated sales territory, understanding market dynamics, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless freight forwarding services. The ultimate goal is to exceed sales targets while ensuring client satisfaction and contributing to the company’s overall success.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee a designated territory with a deep understanding of prospective clients and market competitors in the area.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to the Customer Relationship Management system.
- Foster strong partnerships between customers and product teams, leveraging expertise in Product, Service, Geographic, and Knowledge Management.
- Contribute to developing customized logistics solutions for clients, incorporating visual aids and cost-benefit analyses as needed.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new accounts by coordinating introductions, transferring critical information, and completing necessary documentation.
- Provide assistance with accounts receivable collections as required.
- Engage in training and development programs to enhance sales capabilities and stay updated on company products and services.
- Represent the company in local trade organizations, as directed by the Sales Manager.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support organizational goals.
- Maintain and pass KPI service standards
- Work effectively with other team members to ensure good operating procedures and practice.
We're looking for someone who:
- Is proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Holds a bachelor’s degree, preferably in related study.
- Has a minimum of 3 years' working experience in Freight Forwarding
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Able to frequently meet clients off-site to foster relationships.
- Has a proactive mindset with a strong drive to achieve goals.
- Has a talent for building rapport and establishing lasting relationships.
- Is committed to meeting deadlines and delivering measurable outcomes.
