Job Title: Italian Specialty Chef - Banqueting
Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Italian Specialty Chef to join their luxury banqueting team in Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for a chef who brings a deep love for Italian cuisine and excels in live cooking. You will delight guests with authentic Italian flavors, showcasing a blend of traditional and modern dishes through elegant live stations. As part of their dynamic team, you’ll play a key role in creating unforgettable dining experiences, contributing to the success of their large-scale, high-profile events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and prepare authentic Italian dishes, focusing on flavor, quality, and exquisite presentation.
- Lead live cooking stations during events, providing guests with an engaging and interactive culinary experience.
- Set up and maintain visually appealing stations that reflect the elegance and luxury of Italian cuisine.
- Collaborate with the banqueting team to develop customized menus that align with event themes and client preferences.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring all practices meet local regulations and company policies.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, promoting a positive and efficient work environment.
- Oversee inventory for Italian ingredients, ensuring sufficient stock and timely ordering for upcoming events.
- Stay updated with culinary trends and continuously introduce new Italian dishes and presentation techniques.
- Prepare kitchens and stations for each event, ensuring all equipment is ready and in excellent condition.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Italian Specialty Chef.
- Expertise in a range of Italian cuisine, with a passion for live cooking and guest interaction.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in food presentation and station setup.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to perform efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on training and supervising kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, with relevant certifications preferred.
