Sr Project Manager (m/f/d)

A global technology-driven organization specializing in cloud solutions is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of cloud-based projects. This role requires strong leadership and expertise in managing complex initiatives from inception to delivery.

About the Position: You will play a pivotal role in managing multiple projects, providing leadership, analyzing requirements, and overseeing the development and implementation of cloud-based solutions based on the Google Cloud Platform.

Principal Duties:

• Develop and maintain an understanding of Google Cloud Platform, its services, and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and contribute to the development of scalable and efficient GCP-based solutions.
• Manage project constraints (scope, schedule, cost, quality).
• Manage stakeholder expectations and requirements in a collaborative manner.
• Develop project proposals, project charters, and project management plans.
• Coordinate resources availability and allocation.
• Monitor and control project execution against the project plan and budget.
• Lead risk management and mitigation efforts.
• Measure project progress using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Provide project status updates at predetermined time intervals to all stakeholders.
• Develop post-project support to ensure the measurement of project objectives.
• Ensure that project decisions are formally documented, and project deliverables are stored in the official project repository.
• Provide on-site leadership for the project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant industry-recognized certification related to project management, e.g., PMP, Agile PM, SAFe, CSM.
• Preferred relevant industry-recognized cloud certifications, including Google Cloud Digital Leader.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other project management software.
• A minimum of 5+ years hands-on experience in IT/cloud project management.
• Experience in a professional services/consulting organization.
• Experience in Agile approaches to project management.
• Knowledge of IT project lifecycle and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proven ability to manage budgets for projects greater than $1M.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
