Role Summary
As a Sr. Construction Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the execution of construction activities within the Ministry of Health project. You will ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while coordinating with various stakeholders and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
As a Sr. Construction Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the execution of construction activities within the Ministry of Health project. You will ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while coordinating with various stakeholders and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee construction activities on large-scale infrastructure and city development projects.
- Manage site engineering operations and ensure alignment with project controls including cost, schedule, and trend analysis.
- Supervise health, safety, security, and environmental compliance across all construction phases.
- Administer contracts and procurement processes in coordination with project stakeholders.
- Ensure field quality control and adherence to engineering standards.
- Engage with government entities and utility providers to facilitate project execution.
- Promote continuous improvement and support talent development within the construction team.
- Prepare and present detailed construction progress reports to senior management.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure and city development projects, including leadership roles such as Construction Lead.
- Proven experience managing major government or semi-government international construction sites.
- Strong professional knowledge in site engineering, project controls, HSE, contracts, procurement, and field quality control.
- Demonstrated engagement with government entities and utility providers.
- Track record of implementing continuous improvement and capacity building in construction frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- International project experience, with preference for experience in Saudi Arabia.
