Role Objective:
- To maintain and prepare periodical accounting reports of the company.
- To work for annual audit and annual financial reports.
- Responsible for inter-company balances and inter-division reconciliation and confirmation.
- Responsible for the supervision of non-staff payroll.
- Responsible for the training of subordinates under his/her assignment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supports Chief Accountant and manager in preparing financial reports.
- Coordinates with inter-division for periodical reconciliation.
- Coordinates with intercompany transactions and reconciliation.
- Reports on divisional costs and project costs.
- Prepares internal financial reports.
- Prepares aging receivables.
- Prepares fixed assets schedule.
- Prepares staff payroll and supervision of payments.
- Prepares manpower payroll and supervision of payments.
- Scrutinizes the general ledger accounts.
- Interfaces with external auditors.
- Checks list of provisions and periodic closing entries.
- Responsible for the statement of inter-company movement of balances on monthly basis.
- Monitors the schedule of movement of fixed assets on quarterly basis.
- Monitors, co-ordinates and books inter-division cost and revenue.
- Assists in the training and development of personnel in the Finance department.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
Qualifications and skills requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, master’s degree will be a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 year's experience.
- Valid membership in SOCPA.
- Excellent Skills in process excellence, attention to details, punctuality, dependability, flexibility, quality, and results orientation.
- Fluent in English (Reading, Writing, and Speaking), Hands-on basic accounting, and Microsoft Office – Excel specifically.
