Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Specialist - Government Relations to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing relationships with government entities and agencies to support our strategic objectives and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials and local authorities to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
  • Assist in the development and implementation of government relations strategies that align with Qiddiya's goals and projects
  • Monitor and interpret local and national legislation, regulations, and policies that may impact the organization
  • Prepare and submit applications for permits, licenses, and other necessary documentation to governmental bodies
  • Conduct research and analysis on government policies and initiatives to provide insights for strategic planning
  • Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and materials for management regarding government relations activities and outcomes
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align business operations with government expectations and compliance requirements
  • Participate in public engagement activities and represent Qiddiya at local and governmental meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Communications, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or a relevant position
  • Strong knowledge of local government processes, regulations, and community dynamics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficient in research and analysis, with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic is highly desirable
