Strategy and Digital Transformation Director

Job Purpose

The role holder is responsible for translating Specialized’s corporate strategy into executable plans, programs, and transformation initiatives by managing planning cycles, building strategic tools, and coordinating implementation across sectors. He ensures the alignment of business priorities, financial planning, and digital initiatives to enable effective strategy execution and sustainable performance. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivers strategic advisory support to executive leadership through in-depth analysis, scenario planning, and executive-level business case development.
• Implements Specialized’s corporate strategy in line with stc Group and Cluster directives, ensuring sustainability, growth, and market leadership.
• Translates strategic objectives into actionable business plans, measurable targets, and cross-functional execution frameworks.
• Sets sector-level priorities and cascades strategic programs and KPIs across Specialized departments to ensure unified execution.
• Provides strategic input to Finance sector to support long-term financial planning and ensure funding alignment with execution requirements.
• Aligns with Finance to prioritize capital allocation based on strategic priorities and annual plans.
• Develops GTM and sales strategies—including product, value proposition, and segmentation—in alignment with commercial and market dynamics.
• Drives forward business model innovation efforts to keep Specialized agile and differentiated in local and international markets.
• Identifies and evaluates strategic partnerships, alliances, and service providers to enhance MCN/BCN product performance.
• Explores emerging technologies and trends, integrating relevant growth opportunities into strategic reviews.
• Assesses M&A and joint venture opportunities with the Group Investment Unit, supporting due diligence and integration planning.
• Facilitates core strategic planning cycles including strategy refreshes, BoD inputs, and engagement with Group strategy and S2B processes.
• Builds and maintains multi-year business plans, business cases, and financial models to support investment decisions.
• Designs and updates strategic program cards, ensuring clear scope, KPIs, budget allocation, and risk analysis for effective execution.
• Executes the digital transformation roadmap by integrating advanced technologies such as AI, automation, and data analytics across Specialized

• Handles change management, communications, and KPI monitoring for digital transformation initiatives, while ensuring issue escalation and funding coordination with Finance
  
  

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree
