Job Summary

Responsible for driving business growth, ensuring accurate fund accounting, and enhancing operational processes. The role involves stakeholder collaboration, policy compliance, and identifying key risks and gaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and development, working closely with management to drive new initiatives.
  • Critical success factors include the ability to work with stakeholders within and outside the bank, a good business understanding, an expert appreciation of Fund service and a pro-active attitude in managing key risks.
  • This role requires a high level of expertise in Fund accounting. In addition to local Fund accounting the individual will require industry knowledge.
  • Ensure the processing of client payment with proper approval without breaches of Group payment policy, and other guidelines.
  • Review operational procedures to address key gaps leading to operational losses.

  • Analytical Skills
  • Fund Accounting, Financial statement and Performance Management background.
  • Understanding, and industry knowledge.
  • Results driven while managing customer expectations.
  • Good communication skills
  • Good stakeholder management (External & Internal)
  • Action orientated.
  • Courage to speak and escalate.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance or business.
  • CMA qualification (CME1 and CME2)
  • Experience in investment administration and accounting.
  • Custody experience.
  • Fluent in English & Arabic
