AtkinsRealis are currently looking for a degree qualified Technical Manager with over 15 years experience in design and technicalm management of Heavy Civils/Infrastructure/Utilities prjects. This person must be forward thinking and experienced in running large, multi-disciplined site teams within KSA.

Structural Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all structural engineering activities for the transportation project during the pre-construction and construction phases. Experience in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) and railway projects is required. This role is crucial for ensuring the construction meets all safety, quality, and structural standards are met.

Requirements

The person will be a qualified professional who is currently working at Lead Level and is capable of providing planning, leadership, direction and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multidisciplinary projects. They must have a minimum qualification BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent, have Chartered status and more than 15 years experience with 7 years being similar to this project/role.

Thet will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing AtkinsRealis reputation with our clients and developing effective long term client relationships thus identifying and developing new opportunities for the Group.

  • A qualified professional who is currently working at Technical Lead Level and is capable of providing planning, leadership, direction, design and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multidisciplinary projects, particularly enabling works, infrastructure, heavy civils, utilities.
  • Must have a minimum qualification as BSc, BEng or equivalent. Advanced degree and Chartered status are preferrable.
  • 15 years+ experience with 7 years being similar to this project/role.
  • Highly articulate, experienced in reporting and communication to senior executives.
  • They will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing AtkinsRealis reputation with our Clients and developing effective long-term Client relationships thus identifying and developing new opportunities for the Group.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction techniques as well project controls procedures, quality and health & safety
  • A “rounded profile”, comfortable with planning, analysis and managing process and commercial considerations. The successful candidate will also be able to mobilise people and teams and drive for a successful delivery.
  • Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures both within projects, with Clients and internally.

Principle Activities

  • Manage a multi functional PMC team responsible for delivering a large number of multiple contracts, providing planning, leadership, direction, design and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multidisciplinary projects, particularly enabling works, infrastructure, heavy civils, utilities.
  • Manage key stakeholder interfaces which will include all departments within the Client organisation as well as other government departments.
  • Overall desing and technical expertise.
  • Monitor contractors for compliance with their contractual responsibilities.
  • Ensure delivery of projects to time, cost and quality and ensuring highest standards of Health & Safety are achieved.
  • Ensure resources are appropriate to meet current and future commitments and to maximise opportunities.
  • Must be forward thinking and experienced in running large, multi-disciplined site teams.
