About Our Opportunity

We are now looking for a Site Services Strategic Sourcing Manager (SSM) within Managed Services & Network Sourcing Middle East & Africa organization. In this role, your contributions will be to source and drive Ericsson´s supplier base within Networks services (NRO, MS, NDO, ARP, CW,…). You should be used to work against high targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) and working with a Supplier base, consisting of local and regional service providers, that supports Ericsson current & future business needs. You will be part of a regional team spread over Middle East and Africa region. You will steer business awards, supervise risk, cost and demands, whilst securing quality and compliance. Through efficient sourcing of services and solutions, the Strategic Sourcing Manager shall strengthen Ericsson's competitive position by maximizing supplier value and proactively managing business risks. The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for all commercial relationships with suppliers

What you will do:

• Lead - prepare and execute - the RFx process
• Drive Supplier governance and execution
• Conduct supplier negotiation
• Manage relations with internal customers
• Ensure supplier agreement implementation
• Perform sourcing compliance mandatory checks and actions
• Execute sourcing operational activities
• Coordinate local activities with regional and global category teams
• Evaluate and select suppliers and conduct supplier negotiation
• Ensure supplier agreement implementation and management
• Contribute to the long-term business goals based on strategic targets
  
  

The Skills you bring:

• Bachelor's degree or master’s degree in Procurement, Supply chain management, engineering or similar technical area
• Minimum 5 years of strategic sourcing / procurement experience
• Experience in Telecom services, Network Roll-out, Civil Works
• Sourcing Practice in negotiations, Methodology, Process & Strategy Knowledge
• Business practice understanding and financial analysis skills
• Sourcing practice, process & strategy knowledge
• Ability to empower change & implement new processes
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relations
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to influence internal and external partners
• Demonstrated analytical capabilities
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Local laws & regulations knowledge.
